Dogs

Please make sure that if you have a dog he/she is on a leash at all times. There have been complaints of roaming dogs in the neighborhood. If you are gone for the day please make sure your dog is in your home or in the backyard behind the fence. This is not only in our covenants but there is a leash law for the State of GA. If your dog does his/her business and its in someone elses yard, please pick it up.  We have a problem with residents opening a front door and letting their dog freely roam to do its business, please watch your dog. Thank you for your cooperation.

Speed Limit

Please remember that the speed limit is 25 mph. There is a sign at the front entrance as you drive into Golden

Meadows. Please abide by the speed limit. There are residents walking and playing with children. We do not want any accidents.

Mailboxes

Over time the weather takes a toll on our mailbox posts. You should take a look at your mailbox to see if it looks dirty and in need of paint. Use soap, water and a scrub brush and wash the dirt off. Use Exterior, High Gloss White paint for your post. Take the numbers off with a screwdriver and spray paint them with Pure Black spray paint. A little bit of cheap paint makes the post and numbers look brand new.

Edging

All yards needs to be edged. This prevents the spread of weeds and grass from entering sidewalks, driveways and flower/tree beds, it is also required.  If your yard has creeping weeds/grass and its in these areas, you need to edge.

Bushes / Shrubs

All bushes and shrubs on the fronts and sides of home that are viewable from the road, have to be trimmed to an acceptable level.  If your bushes/shrubs have grown up past the bottoms of your windows and its blocking the view of the windows, you need to trim the tops.

Trash Cans

A side entry garage shall be allowed to place a trash can at the corner of the garage farthest away from the street. A front entry garage shall be allowed to place a trash can on the side of the home closest to the garage and shall not let weeds and grass get overgrown around the trash cans. Garbage or garbage containers may be left at the curb from 6pm the night before pickup to 7am on the following day the trash is picked up.
